Marin Advocates for Children relies on the generosity of individuals from our community. With an operating overhead of only 11%, Marin Advocates for Children is less than half the standards for national CASA and other similar organizations. We strive to be one of the most efficient non profits in Marin County. We have created a number of ways in which you can invest in the future of the children we serve. Because Marin Advocates for Children is a 501©3, non profit public benefit corporation, all donations are tax deductible. Every donation is important and each one makes a difference in a child's life.
Marin
Advocates for Children now has the capacity to accept
donations of vehicles. Please contact the "Center
for Car Donations" at 877-411-3662 for more
information. Your donated vehicles help support our
work to prevent child abuse and to advocate for the
best interest of children.
NEW! Sell an item on eBay and donate the proceeds to Marin Advocates for Children. Or, you can donate your item to Marin Advocates for Children and we'll sell it for you. For more information on this great giving program, click here.
This
fund allows a CASA child to participate in activities such
as camps, field trips, a prom, or receive services that
may not otherwise be available to them. Any of the methods
of donating outlined below can be used. Please specify that
you would like your money to go to our "Special Needs Fund" when
donating.
We are always looking for individuals and
corporations to become sponsors of our special events. These
sponsorships can take the form of cash donations, services,
or items of interest that could be auctioned or raffled off
in order to raise much needed funds for our programs. For
more information on our special events, Click

Check with your company Human Resources department and find
out if they have a matching donor program. If they do, then
it is often possible to double your contribution because
of a matching amount from your employer.
A number of longtime Marin Advocates for Children supporters
have made legacy bequests in their wills to help fund MAC's
mission for the long term. There are many different
ways in which you can make legacy bequests, such as gifts of
cash, real estate, or personal property. The options
available to a donor are many and complicated so before deciding
to make a legacy gift to MAC, please contact your legal or
financial representative for professional advice.
